Morton Place Chatelain is symphony of jewel toned colors for those who are seeking calm and comfort. The pale green walled living room with its deep, leather chesterfield sofas has brass accented mirrors to off set the houndstooth wallpaper from our partners, the Belgian wallcovering company Omexco. The kitchen has a faint pink accent with a strong black kitchen details where each resident has private drawer for food storage. The bedrooms have earth toned wallpapers and brown wooden floors in purples, greys and ochres. Our floor to ceiling windows accentuate the contrast between the jewel toned interiors and the vibrant greens of the abundant trees in the communal gardens.
Our first Morton Place is a bright and cheerful house furnished with modern design classics in pop colors. Dramatic black wooden floors and bright wallpaper paired with vintage Jazz posters complete the furnished look. The house is built around a central light-filled courtyard which features a barbecue and outdoor chairs for those precious sunny days. Rooms have bold colored wallpapers from our partners at Omexco wallpaper company including handpainted glass beaded paper in our communal television room.
Morton Place Louise is our grandest addition and features original wooden floors and fantastic hand carved wooden doors. For fans of authentic architectural detail, the marbled fireplaces, molded ceilings and original chandeliers will make you feel right at home. This home has an authentic Brussels atmosphere. The 4 meter high ceilings are a fantastic setting for our living room which features a floor to ceiling library with our collection of art and literary works. A sumptuous chandelier marks the singular entrance way, definitely the boldest of any coliving home in Brussels.
